Important Notice to Property Buyers
Before paying a deposit or buying land or property in Nigeria, verify ownership and relevant documents with the appropriate state land registry or government authority. Do not rely only on a seller's documents or an online property listing. Obtain independent advice from a qualified Nigerian property lawyer. SPC can help arrange authorised official searches and supporting checks on your behalf, for an agreed fee. SPC is not a government agency and cannot issue or guarantee title certification.

Every state land registry (and AGIS for the FCT) offers title and parcel searches. You or your lawyer can apply directly, pay official charges through approved channels and receive the authority's response.

Buyer FAQs
Does SPC certify that a property is genuine?
No. SPC is not a government agency and cannot issue or guarantee title certification. We coordinate official searches and present findings with their sources and limits.
How much does it cost?
Pricing follows review. You'll receive SPC's service fee, government charges (paid through approved channels), third-party professional fees and taxes as separate lines. We never quote fixed official fees or turnaround times.
What if SPC is marketing the property?
We disclose any commercial relationship with a listing and always recommend independent advice from a qualified Nigerian property lawyer.
Can I send my documents now?
Not at this stage. Sensitive documents are only exchanged through secured case access after scope approval and written authority.
